Community Services

Galaxy works with the PA Council on the Arts in a groundbreaking partnership to regionalize efforts to improve the quality of arts in education both in schools and within communities across Clearfield, Centre and Clinton counties.  And while Galaxy is best known for its school-based programs, Galaxy programs and services also benefit universities and libraries, as well as pre-school and senior populations.

Galaxy artists of dance, drama/theatre, music, visual and literary arts are carefully selected to tailor educationally-sound learning experiences to the ages and ability levels of the participants being served.  Programs are offered in a variety of formats ranging from one hour to several days long.  Groups can choose from a selection of artist visits, workshops, performances, and multiple-day artist residencies.
