Donating to Galaxy
Contributions made to Galaxy can offer a blanket benefit for all of its participating schools by defraying more of the general operating expenses. Some contributions (EITC) subsidize particular types of programs.
Individuals can support Galaxy by making a tax-deductible contribution.
Businesses can support Galaxy either by making a direct tax-deductible contribution or by applying through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program http://www.newpa.com/programDetail.aspx?id=62 to receive up to 90% of the donated amount in tax credits. Donations made through the EITC program support Galaxy’s pre-approved “innovative” programs.
