Galaxy Arts Catalog

(NOTE:  Most of Galaxy’s programs and services are listed in the Galaxy Arts Catalog, which is not available on the website.  Educators from participating schools can use this section to review important information about the catalog and how to use it.)

Galaxy’s Arts Catalog, created each year and distributed in August to schools that participate in the program, provides a central and comprehensive collection of professional arts resources from the CIU 10 region and beyond.  Artists of dance, drama/theatre, music, visual and literary arts are carefully screened by Galaxy staff and offered training to provide educationally-sound learning experiences. 

Galaxy’s resources are offered in the form of artist visits, workshops, master classes, artist residencies and performances, (plus cultural field trips) and are presented along with connections to the PA Academic Standards to enhance content learning as well as support schools in attaining Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP).  Schools make their selections (See “How to Order”) and Galaxy takes care of the rest.
